'写东西' for College Essays

老年人 had the opportunity to sit down with College 招生 Representatives to review their essays as part of 写东西: College Essay Review Day.

CCHS hosted fifteen experienced college admissions professionals to individually meet one hundred senior students to offer constructive and direct feedback on their college essays.

College Reps Show 老年人 the Write Stuff When It Comes to Essays

For the seventh consecutive year, Central Catholic's innovative 写东西: College Essay Review Day offered 100 Central Catholic seniors the rare opportunity to have their college essays reviewed by professional college representatives before students submit applications to their best fit schools.

Developed and organized by the Office of School & 大学咨询, this event pairs students with experienced College 招生 Representatives.

Leading up to the event, seniors registered by emailing a rough draft of their college essay to a dedicated email account. 一旦收到, the essays were shared with the college representatives to review the essay and have suggestions ready to share with students.

From 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on 10月ober 11 in Central Catholic's Catalano Memorial Library, each student had one-on-one meetings with an assigned college representative to discuss their essay that they submit ahead of time to the admissions rep for review.
